If you look at it from my perspective, I would say, "Why not a marketing blog?" I think my passion for marketing and avertising goes back to my childhood when I used to end up enjoying the ads between a television show than the show itself.

Years later, having astigmatism and being told that the focal point of my retina keeps shifting, it's probably what lead to a diverse career path branching out to many directions; with Marketing being a part of some of them. Or perhaps it's my personal belief that life is too short to accomplish all that I want to.

​

I started my pre-graduate career with a number-crunching job at a time when I didn't even know how to use MS Word; let alone design marketing strategies. I continued with my Masters' degree with majors in Marketing (finally!) while at that job and moved on to Corporate Communications for more than five years. I ended up taking a career break for a while and did freelance writing and became a visiting faculty to teach Public Relations for some time.

When I came back to the workplace, it was as an Economics and Business Studies Teacher (yes Marketing was a core section in the syllabus); adding CPD to my belt a year later. Five years later I found a reason for remote work and became a Remote Writer, Content Manager, Online Tutor & Communications Consultant.

I think there are still a couple of hats that I would like to try on. In the meanwhile, I'm starting this marketing blog in 2023  while manifesting the next step in my career.
